The World Heritage road: Da Nang – Hue – Hoi An

Begin in Da Nang, where you’ll explore the serene Marble Mountains, look out over the ocean from Son Trà Peninsula, and snap photos at My Khe Beach. Next, wander through the quaint alleyways of Hoi An Ancient Town, admiring the Japanese Covered Bridge, historical merchant houses, and vibrant riverside markets. Cross the legendary Hai Van Pass, pausing at scenic Lang Co Lagoon, before arriving in Hue. Explore the imperial majesty of Hue’s Citadel, cruise the tranquil Perfume River accompanied by royal music, and visit the sublime Thien Mu Pagoda, Minh Mang, and Khai Dinh tombs. ITINERARY

Explore the Central World Heritage road of Vietnam

Day 1. Da Nang Arrival (D)

Upon arrival at Da Nang airport, meet our guide and drive around to have an overview of Da Nang coastal city, visit Marble Mountain (Ngu Hanh Son), discover the stunning natural caves of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the Marble Mountain. You also visit the stone sculpturing village. Continue on to Son Tra peninsula named as Monkey Mountain to visit Linh Ung Pagoda and stopover by My Khe beach – classified as one of the most attractive beaches on earth. Check-in your hotel and have dinner at restaurant.

Overnight in Da Nang.

Day 2. Da Nang - Hoi An – My Son (B, L)

Morning, depart from your hotel in Da Nang to My Son sanctuary which was once an imperial city during the Champa dynasty, between the 4th and the 12th centuries. We travel about 50km to visit My Son sanctuary, visit the ruins towers of Cham people and learn about of architecture of Cham civilization. Spend about 1.5 hour to see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site. You will also have chance to enjoy the traditional Apsara dancing of Cham girls.

Drive back to Hoi An old town to have lunch and take a walking tour around visiting to the former merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and the colorful riverside market. You also see a numerous art galleries and tailor shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you like. Return to your hotel late afternoon.

Day 3. Da Nang – Hue (B, L)

Morning depart from your hotel to Hue (2.5 hours land transfer), on the way to stop for sightseeing the high mountain pass of Hai Van; Lang Co beach; the lagoon far below with Da Nang spread out. On arrival in Hue, start driving to visit one of the tomb of Nguyen Emperors – Minh Mang tomb, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes or tomb of Khai Dinh, a blend of Western and Eastern architecture or Tu Duc or Gia Long tomb. Then return to the city to have lunch at a typical Garden House restaurant.

Afternoon, go on to visit the Imperial Citadel with the Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden City (Tu Cam Thanh).., leisurely troll through the bustling Dong Ba Market. Enjoy dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Hue.

Day 4. Hue - Da Nang (B, L)

This morning you board a boat for a cruise on the Perfume River giving you a taste of the scenic countryside, as well as an enjoyable visit to the beautiful Pagoda of Thien Mu with its impressive 'Heavenly Lady' seven-story tower. Time permits, you will stop at an incense-making village or hat-making village or Dong Ba market for shopping and blend with real life of charming Hue.Check out your hotel and depart for Da Nang.

Check in your hotel in Da Nang and relax on your own leisure. Overnight in Da Nang.

Day 5. Da Nang Departure (B)

Free at your own leisure before transferring to Da Nang airport for your departure flight home.
